Housey Housey @ The Forge is the perfect venue for a special event. It’s spacious, contemporary and right in the heart of Ballarat. In keeping with the rustic, authentic feel of The Forge Pizzeria restaurants, the timeless layout, high ceilings, exposed brick and warehouse style allow for incredible events of all sizes. We host weddings, corporate functions, parties, celebrations and special events including markets and exhibitions.  Events held in Housey Housey are catered for by talented chefs in The Forge Pizzeria kitchen and wood fired ovens next door. Our food, beer and wine packages are expertly sourced by our Head Chefs and have a distinctly local and regional focus.

You might like to know:

• The venue is perfect for events of around 120 guests. We also host over 250 guests comfortably and deliver more intimate events for 70 people of less
• Our food is locally and regionally sourced and menus are planned by our Head Chefs
• Seated dining and roaming style packages available
• Wood fired pizza is in our blood, but hand-made pastas and slow cooked wood fired dishes feature throughout the Housey Housey menu
• Food packages include hand-made canapés, sharing plates, pastas, salads, wood fired dishes and desserts
• We think drinks are important and our beverage packages complement our food offerings and include the region’s best craft beer and wine and fine selection of Italian options 
• Kids (aged 3 to 12 years) are very welcome and specially looked after with our ‘Little Blacksmiths’ menu
• Our special event packages can be tailored to suit individual requirements
